titleOfInvention | Production of photopolymer |
abstract | PURPOSE: To easily obtain a photopolymer containing specified aromatic azido groups on the side chains which is useful as a photosensitive film, by reacting a specified chloronitrobenzoic acid with an epoxy group-containing polymer and then reacting the product with sodium azide. n CONSTITUTION: A polymer containing on the side chains, 2-azido-5-nitrobenzoate ester groups or 3-nitro-4-azidobenzoate ester groups, is prepared by reacting 2- chloro-5-nitrobenzoic acid or 3-nitro-4-chlorobenzoic acid with an epoxy group- containing polymer such as a glycidyl (meth)acrylate type polymer, and then reacting the product with sodium azide. In carrying out the above reaction, neither a particularly large reaction vessel nor portional addition of an azido group-containing compound is required. In addition, the solvent can be selected from a variety of types, for example, dimethylformamide. Furthermore, it is possible to produce a photopolymer without using a highly toxic material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
