titleOfInvention | Processing method of silver image for reduction |
abstract | PURPOSE:To extend the effective reduction range of a cerium salt reducer by using alcohol, glycol, etc. CONSTITUTION:A silver image formed by exposing and developing a photographic sensitive silver halide material is processed with a reducer contg. ceric salt and at least one kind of compound selected from 1-5C monohydric alcohols, 2-4C glycols, acetic acid and acetone. The compound is used by >=1, especially >=5g to 1g cerium sulfate. The ceric salt is used by 10-130g/l. Thus, the area of the silver image can be reduced while inhibiting the density lowering of the image, that is, reduction with a wide effective reduction range is enabled. |
