abstract | PURPOSE:To simplify the system and improve the reliability thereof by introducing a sampling gas to an detector by a natural circulating force. CONSTITUTION:A space section 16 is provided between a sodium-contg. equipment 14 and an external insulating material 15 and filled with a nitrogen gas 17 as atmospheric gas. Sodium 18 in the equipment 14 is kept at a high temperature during the normal operation, the nitrogen gas 17 is also heated up to a temperature almost the same as that of the sodium 18. The temprature where a leakage detector 20 is located is about 50 deg.C as the temperature of the atmospheric gas. Therefore, a difference in the density is caused between gases in the high temperature and low temperature sections yielding a natural circulating force. The nitrogen gas 17 in the space section 16 is lightened in weight by heating while flowing upward and passing through a sampling piping 19 and is in troduced to the leakage detector 20. Then, it is released into a primary storage construction of a nuclear reactor. |
