abstract PURPOSE:To raise the heat collecting efficiency of a solar-heat collecting apparatus, by arranging a condensing and heat-collecting lens or lenses over the surface of heat collecting sections of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Condensing and heat-collecting lenses 3 are arranged over the surface of heat collecting sections 2 of a solar-heat utilizing water heater 1. Here, many small lenses 3 are arranged in a frame 4 as shown in the drawing, or otherwise, it is also possible to use one or several large convex lenses instead of many small lenses. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to raise the heat collecting efficiency of the solar-heat collecting apparatus.
