abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a conductive copy type ink sheet capable of high resolution and high density recording with a small amount of electricity, being a laminated substance of an ink layer with colorant dispersed uniformly over a resin of a specific melting point and a base layer with dispersed carbon black, and having a specific thickness and a surface resistance for both layers. CONSTITUTION:An ink sheet is obtained by laminating the ink layer 1a with colorant dispersed uniformly over a thermoplasticity resin of 50-200 deg.C melting point (e.g., paraffin wax, lauryl methacrylate, and polyvinyl butyral) on a resin for binding such as polyvinyl butyral and polycarbonate and the like, while satisfying the formulasI-VI letting the surface specific resistances of a base layer 1b and the ink layer 1a be rhos(1), rhos(2), respectively, and their thickness l1-l2, respectively. To this, a recording electrode 3 and a return electrode 4 are connected, and conducting copy recording is performed by turning on the recording signal between the two electrodes.
