titleOfInvention System for detecting water leakage in sodium cooled fast breeder
abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the price of the water leakage detecting system without imparing detecting function by providing a dynamic balance detecting gage on each steam generator in a secondary Na circuit and providing a stationary balance detecting gage for calibration in each loop or commonly in a plurality of loops. CONSTITUTION:The water leakage detecting gages 3' and 4' are provided at the Na outlet sides of a superheater 1 and an evaporator 2 of the secondary Na circuit of the fast breeder, respectively. Na is sucked by an electromagnetic pump 6, heated to a measuring temperature by a main heater 9, circulated in an Ni diffused film part 8, cooled by an encomizer 10, and returned to the secondary Na circuit through an electromagnetic flow meter 5 at a constant flow rate in each detecting gage. The dynamic balance detecting gage is used for the detecting gage 3' and 4'. The stationary balance detecting gage 14 is additionally provided for the calibration of the detecting gages 3' and 4'. Valves 15 and 16 are sequentially opened, Na in each detecting gage is sent to the Ni diffused film part 12, and calibration is performed. Thus a calibrating hydrogen meter 13 is not provided in the detecting gages 3' and 4' and the cost can be saved. One calibration detecting gage can be commonly provided for more than 2 loops.
