titleOfInvention Gas discharge pipe
abstract PURPOSE:To prevent mixing of hydrogen gas and air at the time of discharging hydrogen gas and to safely discharge the hydrogen gas by providing a hydrogen gas discharge pipe with a check valve in a rotary electric machine for cooling hydrogen, and filling an inactive gas in the discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogen gas discharge pipe 4 is connected to a rotary electric machine 1 performing cooling by hydrogen gas through a bellows valve 3. A check valve 10 is mounted at the outlet section of the pipe 4 and an inactive gas cylinder 8 is connected to conduits 5, 7 through an electromagnetic valve 6. And pressure in the pipe 4 is fed into the valve 6 through a conduit 9 so that an inactive gas is always filled in the pipe 4. In this way, hydrogen gas and air are not mixed with each other in the pipe 4 when the hydrogen gas is discharged, and the hydrogen gas can be discharged in the air without any possibility of explosion.
