titleOfInvention Reclaiming method for polyurethane resin waste
abstract PURPOSE:To enable polyurethane resin waste to be injection-molded or extrusion- molded, by a method wherein thermosetting polyurethane resin waste is crushed, and thus obtained pulverulent and granular bodies of particle diameter less than 1mm. and thermoplastic polyurethane resin are kneaded together. CONSTITUTION:Urethane waste is crushed into pulverulent whose size is 0.001- 1mm., preferably less than 1mm., in grain size, and to thus obtained pulverulent and granular bodies, compatible thermoplastic polyurethane resin and, if desired, another addition agent are added and kneaded together. Then, the kneaded substance is supplied to a hopper for extrusion molding to perform extrusion molding in a given manner by employing an extrusion molding machine for molding thermoplastic resin. On the other hand, in the case where said kneaded substance is injection-molded, for example, the temperature in the cylinder is to be 160-200 deg.C, and the residence time is to be within 10min. Thus, through the utilization of polyurethane resin waste, a reclaimed product is obtained having improved surface condition and physical properties and at the same time, productivity is improved remarkably.
