titleOfInvention | Composition for remedying diabetes |
abstract | PURPOSE: A diabetes remedying composition for rectum administration, having improved absorbability from the rectum, obtained by blending insulin with an analgesic and antiphlogistic agent of the acidity type, an organic amine or a basic amino acid. n CONSTITUTION: Insulin is blended with one selected from an analgesic and antiphlogistic agent of the acidity type (e.g., indomethacin, phenylbutazone, etc.), an organic amine (e.g., ethanolamine, diethanolamine, etc.), and a basic amino acid (e.g., lysine, arginine, etc.). The tilted composition is pharmaceutically manufactured into a suppository, e.g., anal suppository, soft capsule for rectum administration, and used for remedying diabets. The amount of an accelerator for rectum administration, in case of human administration, is 50W100mg/g suppository and the amount of insulin in that case is 10W40 units. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
