titleOfInvention Electrophotographic receptor
abstract PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity, durability, etc, of an electrophotographic receptor used for electrophotographic copiers and the like by containing an org. photoconductive material consisting of pyrazoline compounds in the photosensitive layer of said photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The pyrazoline compound (e.g.; formula III) expressed by the formula II synthesized by causing the ketone expressed by the formulaI(Y is phenyl, benzyl that may have substituents) to react with the hydrazine expressed by the formula X-NH-NH2 (X is pyridyl, quinolyl that may have substituents such as methyl, methoxyl, and the like). The compound of the formula II is contained as an electric charge transport material in the electric charge transport layer of an electrophotographic receptor constituted of a conductive layer, an electric charge generating layer, an electric charge transfer layer, etc. Thereby, the degradiation in the surface potential and sensitivity in the repetitive use of the photoreceptor is decreased, the rise in residual potential is made negligible and durability is improved.
