abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled compound in high purity and yield, at a relatively low temperature, in a short time, by carrying out the halogen exchange reaction in the presence of a crown compound using potassium fluoride or potassium fluoride and other specific fluoride salt as the fluorination agent. n CONSTITUTION: The objective compound of formula II (Y is C-R 7 or N; Z is C-R 8 or N; R 5 WR 8 are R 1 ) can be prepared by the halogen exchange reaction of the halogenated heterocyclic compound of formula I (X is Cl or Br; P is C-R 3 or N; Q is C-R 4 or N; R 1 WR 4 are H, alkyl, alkoxy, keto, phenyl, CN, NO 2 , perfluoroalkyl, F, Cl, or Br) using a fluorination agent comprising potassium fluoride or its mixture with an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal fluoride other than potassium fluoride (a mixture at a molar ratio of 1:1W2:1), in the presence of a crown compound catalyst at 150W200°C.
