abstract | PURPOSE:To improve speed control precision and to improve responsiveness by detecting and correcting the opening degree, etc., of a flow control valve for pressurized water, and then stopping the correction for a specific time. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized water from a couple of injection nozzles is jetted on the impeller 14 of the vertical roll 12 of a universal rolling machine 10 to rotate the impeller. A shut-off valve 18 driven by an electromagnet and the flow control valve 22 driven by the electric motor 20 are provided in order to control the on-off state and flow rate of the pressurized water from the nozzles 16, and the rotation of the impeller 14 is controlled by a promixity switch 24. The valves 18 and 22 are controlled through a speed controller 30 on the basis of the deviation between the rotating speed of the vertical roll 12 and a reference rotating speed from a setter 28. In this case, the opening degree of the cotrol valve 22 is detected by a detector 42 or corrected by detecting the hydraulic pressure of the pressurized water and recorrection is inhibited by a timer 44 for the specific time after the correction. |
