titleOfInvention | Diazo-fixing type thermal recording material having excellent storability |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a diazo-fixing type thermal recording material having excellent storability and capable of thermal color recording having high density, by providing a photo- and heat-sensitive layer containing a diazonium salt, a specific coupler, and a specific developer on a support. CONSTITUTION:In a diazo-fixing type thermal recording material provided with a photo- and heat-sensitive layer containing a diazonium salt, a coupler, and a developer (e.g., a fine particle dispersion of an organic basic compound which can be melted by heat to afford a basic atmosphere) present in the same layer. The coupler compound which can be used includes one or more compounds of formula I and II (where R1, R2, and R3 are each H, a halogen atom, an 18C or lower alkyl, alkoxy, phenoxy, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl, amino, alkylamino, or acylamino). The organic basic compounds which are particularly preferable include guanidine derivatives of formulas III and IV (where R4-R8 are each H or 18C or lower alkyl, and R9 is lower alkylene or phenylene). |
