| abstract | PURPOSE:To manufacture an Al pipe containing a covered wire body, whose strength is uniform, by extruding and forming an aluminum pipe body from between a die and a nipple, cooling by a strong air a plastic covered wire body from a nipple center hole, and supplying it. CONSTITUTION:An Al wire 7 is supplied to a duct 5 formed between a groove 3 of a rotary wheel 2 of an extruding machine 1 and a fixed shoe block 4, an Al 8 is pressed into a container part 10 in a stop block 9 by a friction caused by a rotation of the rotary wheel 2, also extruded from between a nipple 12 and a die 11, and an Al pipe body is formed continuously. Subsequently, a plastic covered wire body 14 is cooled by an air cooling nozzle 18 and supplied into this Al pipe body 13 from a center hole 12A of the nipple 12 through a spacer 19 consisting of a heat insulating material. Said Al pipe body 13 is cooled forcibly by a cooling water with a nozzle 20, drawn out of the extruding machine 1, the surface is reduced by a drawing die 23, and it is possible to obtain easily an Al pipe containing a plastic covered wire body, whose mechanical strength is uniform in the circumferential direction, which has no pin hole, and also causes no thermal damage. |
