| abstract | PURPOSE:To permit ballast adjustment in case when a water pumping and drainage apparatus is broken, by installing a high-pressure gas blowing apparatus and a bottom opening and closing door onto a ballast apparatus equipped with the pumping and drainage apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A high-pressure gas blowing port 6 is installed through a high pressure gas vessel 13, valve 14, and a conduit 7 onto a main ballast adjuster equipped with a ballast pumps 3 and 4 for pumping and drainage and a pumping and drainage pipe 2, in order to introduce high pressure gas into a ballast division. A part of the bottom plate of the ballast division is opened, and a door 9 which can be opened and closed by an operating apparatus 8 is installed. When the main ballast adjuster is not operated because of the trouble of the pumps 3 and 4, high-pressure gas is introduced into the ballast division, and the door 9 is opened, and then ballast adjustment is performed. |
