titleOfInvention Specimen vaporizing chamber of gas chromatograph
abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to completely vaporize a specimen by preventing ingredients to be vaporized from being adsorbed by nonvolatile ingredients through such an arrangement wherein a heating mechanism to be installed to the specimen vaporizing chamber of a gas chromatograph is composed so that it is enabled to heat the vicinity of the carrier gas discharging hole of the gas chromatograph up to a temperature which differs from the temperature of the vicinity of the specimen injecting hole. CONSTITUTION:A specimen is injected by piercing the needle of an injector through the rubber stopper 4 of the specimen vaporizing chamber 1 of a gas chromatograph. The number of winding of a heat generating coil 7 is gradually reduced from portion A to intermediate portion B and portion C in order so that the number of winding of the coil 7 becomes larger at the injecting hole and in the vicinity of a carrier gas injecting hole 2, outer circumferential portion A, and the number of winding of the coil 7 becomes smaller at the outer circumferential portion C in the vicinity of a carrier gas discharging hole 3. By this arrangement, when a liquor is analyzed, for example, vaporization is prevented from becoming incomplete by preventing alcoholic ingredients from being adsorbed by water and extracted ingredients of high boiling point, and ingredients of high boiling point are prevented from being mixed in alcohol, and as a result of this, an accurate analysis can be performed.
