titleOfInvention Formation of image
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a toner superior in developing performance, hardly affected by environmental variation, and capable of forming a sharp and fog-free image prevented from deterioration of image quality due to repeated uses by using a positively electrostatically charged toner contg. a positively chargeable fine silica powder. n CONSTITUTION: A positively charged toner used for developing a negative latent image formed on a photosensitive body using an org. photoconductor contains a positively chargeable fine silica powder. Such a toner is prepared by adding a dry type fine silica powder treated with, e.g., a silicone oil having amines on the side chains, to a powder, e.g. contg. a binder resin and a magnetic powder, etc. The use of such a toner prevents filming on the surface of the photosensitive body even under high temps. and high humidities, and in making a large number of successive copies, and a fog-free sharp image can be obtained without deterioration of image quality. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
