titleOfInvention Color photographic sensitive silver halide material
abstract PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity, gradation and maximum density and to increase the color developing speed by forming a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified compound and a nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer on a support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. a compound represented by the formula (where X is H or acetyl, R is aryl, and each of R1- R4 is H, alkyl or aryl) by 0.001-1mol per 1mol silver halide and photosensitive silver halide of <=0.6mum average grain size and a nonhotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer contg. silver halide are formed on a support. Two or more photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers contg. 2X10<-5>-2X10<-3>mol/m<2> said compound and said colloidal layer may be formed. A color photographic sensitive silver halide material suitable for rapid color development is obtd.
