Injection-molded article, injection molding method and injection molding machine |
abstract |
PURPOSE:To obtain effectively a highly accurate injection-molded article from raw materials to be made by adding an inorganic complex material to ultramacromolecular weight polyethylene, by pouring molten raw materials into a cavity prior to comencement of thermal bridging. CONSTITUTION:Molding is done by injecting a complex material containing inorganic material whose wt% is less than 30 by making ultra-macromolecular polyethylene or ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene into a backing material. A compression ratio of 1.3-2.0 is suitable for that of a screw 1 of an injection molding machine, and 15-20 is desirable for L/D (L:length, D:diameter). The raw materials supplied into a cylinder 2 from a hopper 4 are heated instantaneously by a compressing part 2b and melted (surface only) by a nozzle part 2c. The inside of the cylinder 2 is kept at non-oxidizing atmosphere and molecular weight can be prevented from deteriorating as nitrogen gas is supplied within the hopper 4. In addition to the above, as once the ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene is melted crosslinking is started immediately after the melting, if the title method is so constituted that the foregoing polyethylene is poured into the cavity 5 immediately through the nozzle part pouring can be done while it is fluid. |
