| abstract | PURPOSE:To prevent water from dropping in a car room by joining a drip channel with a roof panel to form a drip groove along a roof side edge part and also forming a drain guide extending from the rear end of said drip groove to the top of a rear pillar. CONSTITUTION:A side edge flange part 23a extending in the horizontal direction of a roof panel 23, is spot welded to a drip channel 22 to form a drip groove B. A body side retainer 29 is mounted ranging over a front pillar, a roof- side rail 20, and a rear pillar 21, and a drip part 29a is formed on the outside ranging from the rear part of the roof-side rail 20 to the rear pillar 21. The drip part 29a allows a drain guide C which extends from the rear end of the drip groove B to the top of the rear pillar 21 to be formed. Rain water W on the roof panel 23 is introduced to the top of the rear pillar 21 via the drip groove B and the drain guide C. Accordingly, the rain water W never drops in the door opening part 30. |
