titleOfInvention Printing apparatus
abstract PURPOSE: To enable stable high quality printing at a high speed, by forming the recording electrode opposed to an opposed electrode through recording paper from a member having conductivity and an ink impregnation property. n CONSTITUTION: A printing head 10 is mounted to a carrtier 9 and an opposed electrode 11 opposed to a printing head 10 is horizontally attached to a printer 7. A recording electrode 27 is attached to the interior of the case 26 as the ink container of a printing head 10 so as to protrude the leading end part 28 formed in a conical shape of said electrode 27 from the side wall of the case 26 and has conductivity and an ink impregnation property. The recording electrode27 is formed, for example, by using an air permeable aluminum casting material and, because the air permeable porous material is used in the recording electrode 27, liquid ink can be sufficiently and stably supplied to and held by the leading end part 28 of the recording electrode 27. Because a large number of passages of the ink 29 are present up to said leading end part, even if one passage generates clogging, the flow of the ink 29 is compensated by a large number of the residual passages and a highly reliable printing apparatus can be realized. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
