titleOfInvention Desulfurizing agent for gas containing hydrogen sulfide
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a desulfurizing agent easy in the after treatment and excellent in desulfurizing performance by blending and mixing 35W65pts.wt. sawdust, 25W55pts.wt. rice hull and if necessary 3W15pts.wt. alkali component for 100pts. wt. yellow ochre. n CONSTITUTION: A desulfurizing agent for gas contg. hydrogen sulfide is obtained by blending 35W65pts.wt. sawdust, 25W55pts.wt. rice hull and if necessary 3W15pts.wt. alkali component such as sodium carbonate for 100pts.wt. yellow ochre, mixing them sufficiently and regulating the mixture to 20W65% water content. The size of sawdust is preferably regulated so that the sawdust of ≤1mm size is 80% and the sawdust of 1W3mm size is 20% and the rice hull can be used intactly in the shape ordinarily available. Furthermore, after the spent desulfurizing agent is heated and incinerated to recover sulfur content, it can be treated as the ordinary waste but the block of iron content does not remain such as the case of using the shavings and the diversion for cement raw material or the like is made possible. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
