abstract PURPOSE:To prevent seal from being off the mark by bulging out the sealer agent inserted into a junction by hemming processing to cover a panel edge section and form a seal section in the hemming junction of a panel of a door or the like. CONSTITUTION:A sealer agent 3 is inserted in excess at the junction of an inner panel 2 and an outer panel 1 so that it is bulged out of the junction by hemming processing. This bulged-out sealer agent 3a is controlled by a molding groove 5a of a hemming processing press mold 5, and a seal section 6 covering the edge 1a of the outer panel 1 is formed. Next, the sealer agent 3 and seal 6 are hardened through the pretreatment and electrodeposition coating process. According to this constitution, sealing can be performed reliably and easily.
