titleOfInvention | Cooling apparatus for hot steel plate |
abstract | PURPOSE:To manufacture cooling apparatus for hot steel plate capable of ensuring high cooling capacity without deteriorating passing property of strip, by providing tabular water flow guiding means to a strip nozzle for allowing sheet state water film to flow down to upper surface of hot running steel plate. CONSTITUTION:A slit nozzle 2 is arranged at a high level (e.g. max. 1,800mm) free from anxiety of interfering with top and rear ends of strip. Sheet state water flow guiding means, e.g. plural metal foils 5 are attached to the nozzle 2. In this way, interference of strip with the nozzle 2 is prevented. Contact of strip with water flow guiding means is possible, but the foil 5 is sheet state and apt to bend, sheet passing property of strip is not impaired. Further even in case the nozzle 2 is arranged to such a high level as described above, water film flowing out from the nozzle 2 is guided by the foil 5 and allowed to stably flow down to form slit laminar flow having high cooling capacity. Storage tank and cooling water are shown as 1 and 3 respectively in the figure. |
