abstract | PURPOSE: To enhance foamability, raw preservability, stability of developed color images or the like by producing a recording material by providing a layer comprising an electron-donative colorless dye and an electron-acceptive compound constituted of a multivalent metal salt of an aromatic sulfonic acid on a support. n CONSTITUTION: An electron-donative colorless dye and an electron-acceptive compound constituted of a multivalent metal salt of an aromatic sulfonic acid are dispersed by grinding down to a particle diameter of not more than 10μm, preferably not more than 5μm, in a dispersant, and the resultant dispersed liquid is applied to a support to produce a recording material. The multivalent metal salt may be used as the salt from the first, or may be formed by bringing the aromatic sulfonic acid into reaction with a metallic oxide, hydroxide, carbonate or the like in a dispersed liquid or in a system. The recording material thus obtained has favorable color forming properties, raw preservability and stability of developed color images, and the chemical resistance thereof such as alcoholic resistance is enhanced. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
