titleOfInvention Cooling device having two systems for internal combustion engine
abstract PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturization of the whole device in the caption by radiating the heat of cooling liquid in a flowing water system to the cooling medium in a boiling-cooling system and then making heat exchange with the outside air, in a cooling system wherein a cylinder head side cooling system is the boiling-cooling system and a cylinder block side cooling system is the flowing water system. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder head side water jacket WJ2 and a cylinder block side WJ3 are indepently formed and the cylinder block side WJ3 is rendered a cooling system for making cooling function by a wafer flow system using an heat exchanger 8 and a circulation temp 7. This system is always under condition wherein the inside thereof is filled with liquid phase cooling medium. Meantime, the cylinder head side WJ2 is rendered a boiling-cooling system mainly using a condenser 15 and a cooling medium supply pump 25. The heat exchanger 8 is housed in a cooling medium chamber 16 formed at the side of WJ2 to make heat-exchange with the cooling medium in WJ2. And boiling- cooling medium is subjected to heat-exchange with the outside air to be condensed and to be returned into WJ2 as liquified cooling medium.
