titleOfInvention Base precursor
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a base precursor which is composed of a carboxylic acid and an organic base, thus being used as a thermal developing type recording material, because it is very stable during the storage and readily liberate the base, when heated. n CONSTITUTION: The subject base precursor is obtained by combining appropriately salts derived from carboxylic acids and organic base of the formula (R 1 WR 4 are H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, aralkyl, a monovalent group from N-containing heterocyclic ring). The carboxylic acid is preferably sulfonylacetic acid or propiolic acid in which the carboxyl group is eliminated by decarboxylation under heating at 50W200°C. The salts from the carboxylic acid and the organic base melt at 50W200°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
