abstract PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness, the graininess and the latitude of the titled material by disposing color sensitive emulsion layers in such way that the max. coloring density of the layer separated most far from a supporting body among the two layers of the same color sensitive layer has the max. value, and by incorporating a specified yellow coupler in a blue color sensitive emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of the color sensitive emulsion layers is constituted of at least two layers, and the color sensitive layer is disposed in such the way that the max. coloring density of the layer separated most far from the supporting body among the two layers of the same color sensitive layer has the max. value, and the yellow coupler shown by the formula I is incorporated in a blue sensitive emulsion layer. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each hydrogen atom or a substituting group. Thus, the titled material which has the excellent graininess, sharpness and latitude and the sufficient another photographic characteristics, is obtd.
