titleOfInvention Preparation of high-temperature superconducting material
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a high-temperature superconducting material capable of providing a superconducting wire having high critical temperature, high critical magnetic field and high critical electric current density, by uniformly blending a high-temperature superconducting raw material obtained by uniformly dispersing and blending ultrafine powders of component element compounds at a prescribed ratio and reacting the blend in an oven into a solvent and forming slip. CONSTITUTION:An ultrafine mixture obtained by uniformly dispersing and blending ultrafine powders of constituent element compounds, e.g. Y2O3, BaCO3 and CuO at such a ratio as to be a prescribed stoichiometric composition is charged into an oven and reacted e.g. at high temperature such as about 950 deg.C in O2 atmosphere to provide the high-temperature superconducting raw material. Then a solvent and dispersing agent are added and uniformly blended to the raw material to afford slip, which is then blended with water and others and the blend is poured into a molding mold and solidified and then burned in an oven.
