abstract | Provided are a two-component liquid propellant that can perform ignition combustion without using a catalyst, a flying object propulsion method, and a propulsion device. As the two-component liquid propellant, one or two or more kinds selected from an aqueous hydroxylammonium nitrate solution as an oxidizing agent and an ether as a fuel are used. In the flying object propulsion method, a part of the liquid propellant is converted into plasma and gasified at a high temperature, mixed with the remainder of the liquid propellant by a constructor, ignited and burned, and the propelling force is obtained by discharging the combustion gas from a nozzle. |
