abstract | It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for screening a substance having a maturation promoting activity on blood cells. In the maturation process of erythrocytes and platelets, RP S19 multimers are released extracellularly and act on the C5a receptor of erythroblasts and megakaryocytes, resulting in maturation of erythroblasts and megakaryocytes into erythrocytes and platelets. I understood it. Based on such findings, the present invention provides a method for screening a substance having activity of promoting maturation into blood cells targeting the RPS19 multimer and the C5a receptor. In the screening method of the present invention, maturation into blood cells can be detected using the increase in R4 RGS family as an index. The present invention also provides a blood cell maturation promoter comprising a substance having a maturation promoting activity for RPS19 multimers or blood cells as a useful ingredient. The present invention also provides a method for producing erythrocytes and platelets, which comprises a step of contacting a substance having a maturation promoting activity into RPS19 multimers or blood cells with erythroblasts or megakaryocytes. |
