titleOfInvention Additive supply device for internal combustion engine
abstract The engine (1) includes a urea water supply mechanism (200) for supplying urea water into the exhaust passage (26). The urea water supply mechanism (200) heats the urea water in the tank (210) for storing urea water, the pump (220) for feeding urea water, the supply pipe (240), and the tank (210). A tank heater, a pump heater for heating urea water of the pump (220), and a passage heater for heating urea water in the supply pipe (240) are provided. The control device (80) starts the heating control by the tank heater, the pump heater, and the passage heater, and then drives the pump (220) to add urea. Then, the control device (80) reduces the urea water pressure in the supply pipe (240) during urea addition, and the remaining amount of urea water detected by the level sensor (250) enters the urea in the tank (210). When indicating that water remains, a signal indicating abnormality of the tank heater is output.
