titleOfInvention Photodetector
abstract This photodetector 1A has a structure including a first region and a second region periodically arranged with respect to the first region along a plane perpendicular to the predetermined direction. An optical element 10A that generates an electric field component in a predetermined direction when light enters along the optical element 10A, and an optical element 10A that is disposed on the other side of the optical element 10A opposite to one side in the predetermined direction. And a semiconductor layer 40 having a semiconductor stacked body 42 that generates a current by an electric field component in a predetermined direction generated by the first region, and an end portion on the other side of the second region is on the other side of the first region. The first region is made of a dielectric material having a refractive index larger than the refractive index of the second region.
