titleOfInvention Bubble-jet type ink-jet printhead and manufacturing method thereof
abstract The present invention relates to a bubble jet ink jet print head and a method of manufacturing the same. The print head of the present invention includes a substrate on which an ink supply manifold, an ink chamber and an ink channel are integrally formed, a nozzle plate on which a nozzle is formed, a heater made of a resistance heating element, and an electrode for applying current to the heater. In particular, the substrate has a substantially hemispherical ink chamber formed on the surface thereof, a manifold formed from the rear side thereof toward the ink chamber, and an integrally formed ink channel connecting the manifold and the ink chamber to the bottom of the ink chamber. It is. Therefore, manufacturing is easy, mass production is easy, and it is suitable for high integration. In addition, the printhead of the present invention forms a donut-shaped bubble to eject ink, thereby preventing backflow of ink and suppressing droplets of sacrificing image quality.
