abstract | Provided is a light emitting device capable of improving image quality by reducing reflection of external light or projection of an external scene. It has a resonator structure which resonates light generated in the light emitting layer 13B between the first end P1 and the end P2 and extracts it from the side of the second end P2. The intensity and the phase are respectively relative to the reflected light h1 and h2 of the external light at the side of the first end P1 and the side of the second end P2 so that the reflectance of the external light H at the resonance wavelength incident from the side of the second end P2 is 20% or less. It is adjusted and specifically, it is comprised so that intensity may be substantially the same and a phase inverts substantially. The intensity of the reflected light h1, h2 is adjusted by the material and the thickness of the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 14.
