abstract A coke layer and an ore layer are formed in a furnace. The coke layer is formed by coke coke, and the ore layer is formed by ferrocoke, colo coke and ore. The coke in the ore layer has a mixing ratio of 0.5% by mass or more with respect to the ore. The stagnation of the gasification reaction of ferrocoke in a fusion layer can be suppressed.
