titleOfInvention | Anti-inflammatory composition containing 2, 3-bis [(2-hydroxyethyl) thio]-1, 4- naphthoquinone |
abstract | The present invention relates to anti-inflammatory pharmaceutical composition, food composition and cosmetic composition containing 2,3-Bis [(2-hydroxyethyl) thio] -1,4-naphthoquinone as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention has an excellent anti-inflammatory effect by fundamentally reducing the production of TNF-α, PGE 2 , and NO, which are inflammation-related factors, from the transcription stage. In addition, it does not show cytotoxicity even when treated at a high concentration, and thus can be safely applied to medicines, foods and cosmetics. Therefore, it is expected that it can be importantly applied as an anti-inflammatory agent. |
