titleOfInvention | Continuous gas filling process and apparatus for fabrication of insulating glass units |
abstract | According to the present invention, there is provided a method and apparatus for filling an insulating glass unit with one or more insulating gases (e.g., argon and krypton gas). Insulating gas is supplied to the gas fill tube which is inserted into at least one pane space of the insulating glass unit. Each penholding space can be filled with more than one insulating gas. The control unit controls the injection of the insulated gas according to the gas charge data received by the control unit. |
