abstract The conductive coating layers 2a and 2b are formed on at least one of the inner peripheral side and the outer peripheral side of the base body 2 of the bellows 1 by diffusion bonding. In the diffusion bonding, the flat conductive coating layers 2a and 2b are laminated on at least one end face side of the plate-like base body 2, and these base bodies 2 and the conductive coating layers 2a and 2b are diffusion bonded. After the diffusion laminate is formed into a tubular body by a drawing process, the side walls of the tubular body are formed into a bellows shape. By these processes, it is possible to obtain a bellows having a conductive coating layer having a more uniform thickness on the base body of the bellows and having extremely good characteristics (mechanical and electrical characteristics).
