The present invention relates to a rhodium-containing carbon nitride heterogeneous catalyst, a process for producing the same, and a process for producing acetic acid using the same. The heterogeneous catalyst containing rhodium in the carbon nitride support according to the present invention is different from the conventional homogeneous catalytic reaction in that the phases of the conventional reactant and the catalyst are the same as those of the conventional catalyst supported on a carbon nitride support which is not soluble in a liquid solvent such as water or alcohol Since rhodium metal is contained, separation between the catalyst and the product can be easily performed by a simple process such as filtration, which can overcome the disadvantages in the process using the conventional homogeneous catalyst and can minimize the phenomenon of rhodium re-nicking, As a result of the catalytic reaction, the long-term stability and activity of the catalyst are excellent. Therefore, it can be usefully used for the production of acetic acid through the carbonylation reaction between methanol and carbon monoxide. |
