The present invention relates to a polyol, comprising: a) at least one dimer fatty residue selected from dimer fatty acid dianionic residues and dimeric fatty diol residues; And b) at least one of linear C17 to C32 dicarboxylic acids, branched C17 to C32 dicarboxylic acids, linear C17 to C32 diols or residues of branched C17 to C32 diols, wherein the polyol has at least two hydroxyl end groups (hydroxyl end group).
