abstract | There is provided a paraffin production method and a paraffin production apparatus capable of efficiently producing high purity paraffin without performing troublesome operations such as distillation. The paraffin production apparatus 100 includes a separation / recovery section 1 and a hydrogen addition section 2. The separation / recovery section (1) has a separation body containing silver ions, and separates impurities from the raw material gas by bringing the raw material gas containing olefin as a main component into contact with the separation body to recover olefins. The hydrogenation unit (2) obtains highly pure paraffin by bringing the high purity olefin obtained in the separation / recovery unit (1) into contact with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst and performing hydrogenation reaction. |
