[Solution] A polymer compound for conductive polymers comprising at least one repeating unit a represented by the following General Formula (1), wherein the weight average molecular weight is in the range of 1,000 to 500,000. (Wherein R 1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R 2 is a straight, branched, cyclic, C1-C12 group which may have any one or both of a single bond, an ester group, an ether group, and an ester group) Z is any one of a single bond, a phenylene group, a naphthylene group, an ether group, and an ester group, where a is 0 <a≤1.0.
