abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing recombinant E. coli that produces FAEE (fatty acid ethyl esters) among fatty acids and a method for producing fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEE) using the same, and more specifically, four types of genes atfA, pdc, adhB, and ' tesA is located in one plasmid; 5 genes accA, accB, accC, accD and fabD are located in one plasmid; The three genes fabB, fabF and fabA are located in one plasmid to construct a system that is simultaneously expressed, and the fatty acid reduction is eliminated by removing the fadE of the fatty acid synthesis beta- oxidation step. Recombinant E. coli having a significantly increased production of FAEE was produced by introducing the recombinant plasmid of and co-transforming, and FAEE can be effectively produced using the same. Therefore, the recombinant E. coli of the present invention can be usefully used in biofuels and related metabolic engineering. |
