| abstract |
An oil based skin care composition comprising squalene and a method of treating the skin are disclosed. The method includes individually displaying a plurality of visual skin guides to a consumer having a plurality of visual representations of skin conditions by category. Each visual representation corresponds to a severity score for a skin condition by category. The method further includes the step of associating the severity score with the consumer's current skin condition. At least two target skin conditions from a plurality of skin conditions for each category are determined in correspondence with a severity score for each skin condition for each category. At least one accelerator containing at least one active ingredient is associated to treat each target skin condition. A method and a skin care kit for providing a customized skin care product to a consumer are also disclosed. |
