titleOfInvention | Complex particle, tonor external additive and method of preparing complex particle |
abstract | Provided is a composite particle that has high adhesion strength of fine particles on a core particle, and can ensure good charging amount and high fluidity. The composite particles include core particles and fine particles. The main component of the core particles is either an organic material or an inorganic material, the fine particles are present on the core particles, and the main component of the fine particles is the other of the organic material and the inorganic material. The average particle diameter of the core particles is 80 to 300 nm, the coefficient of variation thereof is 2 to 10%, the average particle diameter of the fine particles is 5 to 30 nm, and at the same time, the average particle diameter of the fine particles/the average particle diameter of the core particles is 0.016 to 0.25. The composite particles have an average particle diameter of 90 to 350 nm, a volume resistance ρv=α 1 X10 β1 (Ω·cm), and a surface resistance ρs=α 2 X10 β2 (Ω/cm 2 ) of a multiplier ratio β 1 /β 2 The change in the number of fine particles present on the core particles is 0.5 to 5% before and after irradiating the 0.7 to 1.4, 1 wt% dispersion of composite particles using water as a dispersion medium with ultrasonic waves having an output of 110 W and a frequency of 31 kHz for 30 minutes. |
