abstract The present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphic marker associated with the malic acidity trait and uses thereof. The single nucleotide polymorphism marker associated with the apple acidity trait according to the present invention has a high genetic similarity, so that it is possible to accurately discriminate a variety according to the acidity trait and acidity that does not show a significant difference in the phenotype. This means that when the marker of the present invention is used, the acidity of apples can be discriminated only by leaves without apple fruits. .
