| abstract |
The present disclosure provides methods for isolating structural information at the genomic or chromosomal level from a preserved sample. In some cases, samples that have been preserved under conditions in which long-range nucleic acid information is believed to be irreversibly lost, such as FFPE samples, are processed to recover stabilized nucleic acid-protein complexes as part of the sample preservation process. The complexes are processed to retrieve information about which nucleic acids are bound to the common complex, and the information is used to retrieve structural information of the genome. |
