abstract FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to distillation of glycidyl ester reaction products of straight or branched chain saturated monocarboxylic acids or salts thereof with halo-substituted monoepoxides, wherein the reaction products are wiped under conditions of temperature and pressure. It is applied to distillation apparatus of short path of thin film such as film evaporator. The resulting distillate was significantly lighter in color and improved thermal and color stability compared to the reaction product before distillation.
