| abstract |
The present invention relates to a pitch-based carbon fiber having a fine hollow portion irregularly formed in the fiber axis direction, the fiber cross-section diameter of 3 ~ 15㎛ and its manufacturing method. In another aspect, the present invention is prepared by a method of blending the pitch chip and the thermoplastic resin chip during melt spinning the carbon fiber. Pitch-based carbon fiber of the present invention has a fine hollow portion in the fiber axis direction, and after activating process, when used as a filter, an oil absorbent, etc., the filtration and adsorption performance is very excellent. |
